Design of the DFI Magazine FILM.

In order to communicate the latest film related news to DFI members, visitors to the DFi and members of the Danish film industry FILM magazine was created. It was published 11 times a year and the publication was distributed only in Denmark.

As the turn over of current film news has a high frequency, the content was similar to that of a newspaper, yet its publishing frequency was more that of a magazine. For this reason, the final form was an combination of both newspaper and magazine. A newsprint quality paper was used, and the arrangement of the cover was similar to that of a daily, with a content preview and one large image. The format was also slightly larger and similar to a newspaper. During the magazines print life it underwent two subtle redesigns which addressed very small elements.

Format:247 x 340 mm, saddle-stitched, offset.
